Time: Up to you – 6.4kms – 1.5hrs. Designated driver: Walk it, but get a lift home.

Start your day at Whipper Snapper Distillery near Claisebrook train station. They open at 11am on a Sunday, and are home to the excellent Upshot whisky. You can enjoy coffee, tours, tastings, and whisky, of course.

Next, make your way to Helvetica, the whisky bar that serves whiskies that are sourced from all over the world. You can even buy one and keep it stored on site for your next visit.

For dinner, why not head over to The Old Faithful, a bar and BBQ in the city. With plenty of whisky’s on hand, you can enjoy a meal whilst speaking to their whisky experts.

Finally, pick-up a bottle of your favourite whisky from Gangemi’s Fine Wines and Food, in West Perth (not open on Sunday). They have a large selection available to purchase as well as offering tastings in their cellar.

And since you’re walked all this way, why not step over to the Kings Park Memorial to look out over the Perth city, especially good at night.
